Financial Systems Consultant/Developer
(Position based in Connecticut/New England, New Jersey, New York or North Carolina)

Role and Responsibilities: QueBIT is looking for team members whose primary role will be to take the lead in the design and development of a suite of specialized financial analytics applications. Through its consulting practice, QueBIT has identified several gaps in the offerings on the market and has developed prototypes and products to serve these unmet business needs. Their secondary role will be as consultants – working with customers to design and implement solutions. Candidates must be versatile technologists who understand the principles of good architectural design, and well-structured, object oriented software development. They will be required to work in a variety of environments including databases (both OLAP and relational), software IDEs (Visual Studio and Eclipse) and end user desktop tools. They will be programming for the desktop as well as web services and web clients. Skill requirements include but not limited to:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering required.
- Graduate degree a plus for the experienced.
- Quick learner of new businesses/technologies.
- Experience of or aptitude for translating complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Development skills in C# and ASP.NET, or equivalent technologies, a must.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and a demonstrable bias toward action.
- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence is a plus.
- Must be eligible to work in the US

Entry Level Consultants/Software Developers
We provide a variety of services to Fortune 500 companies including the design and implementation of financial performance management systems which can comprise business intelligence systems, data warehouses and multi-dimensional financial modeling and reporting systems.
Our goal is to expand our team of consultants with personable, creative, technically strong and highly motivated individuals who have knowledge of and/or experience in OLAP and Internet technologies, as well as systems design and programming experience using object oriented languages and web based technologies, and a desire to apply their talents to solving real-world business problems. Applicants would be able to work with clients to understand their needs, and then use their technical skills to design and implement creative solutions.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. and should possess the following:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or Computer Science/Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Excellent programming skills with a strong conceptual grounding
- Knowledge of relational database theory, design and querying
- Minor in business, finance or accounting a plus
- Good writing and communication skills
- Ability to develop creative solutions, work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
