While there is a wide array of packaged software available today, occasionally the specific requirements of a business do not fit neatly into any one package. CRA constantly monitors the market for new and enhanced products to meet our clients' needs. Very often the solution that we propose to you will be a combination of packaged software and software modules custom built to fit your requirements.

We do our best to use best-of-breed industry standard tools. Our tools of choice at the present time include Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server, though we can work with different environments depending on your needs and existing infrastructure.

Web Development

The term "web development" encompasses a wide range of technologies and skill sets. Our strength lies in our experience with many of the mainstream technologies that drive the web, including XML, ASP, Java, Javascript, VB Script and component development and deployment. We can work with your graphic designers or content managers to provide internet access to OLAP and relational databases, data warehouses and business intelligence systems.

Microsoft Office

Microsoft Office has evolved into an environment, which goes far beyond word processing, spreadsheets and databases. By integrating the components of MS Office with other systems using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) we are able to deliver rich, sophisticated interfaces with a minimum of effort. By using object linking and embedding (OLE), and VBA we are able to present not just spreadsheets, but graphs, charts and numbers embedded in the text of word processing documents.

Desktop Interface

A fundamental component of any analysis system is the distribution of data to the desktop in a consistent and easy-to-use schema. The common desktop software tool in most finance and accounting departments is the spreadsheet.

We use Windows development tools, such as Visual Basic and VBA to integrate your system components and provide a consistent, easy to navigate interface.

Microsoft Exchange

Microsoft Exchange provides a customizable infrastructure for e-mail, data sharing, replication and workflow between different sites. We are experienced not only in the installation and configuration of Microsoft Exchange, but also the development of applications in its client tools such as the deployment of the Digital Dashboard concept through Microsoft Outlook.
